Relentless Creative & Brand Obsessive

My work starts where the problem hasn’t met the solution, and lives in everything that follows. Strategy and vision set the direction, and each creative decision builds on the lessons of the last. When I sink my teeth into a brand, I ensure that the strategy is never merely changing, but evolving.

Strategy gives me direction. Creativity gives me range.

While I’m a dogged strategist, creativity drives everything I do. Strategy gives me the discipline to understand what we need to accomplish; creativity gives me the freedom to question what the answer could look like. Whether that’s making unlikely connections, inviting ideas from unexpected voices, or reframing the problem entirely, I’m always looking for the route that drives the brand to new places, not where we’ve already been.

I am endlessly curious about people. I want to know what they care about, what shapes their perspective, and what they know that I don’t. Food. Culture. Politics. What they watched last night. I want to know it all, and that tireless curiosity is essential to my work as a marketer.

I’m less interested in what’s trending than why it’s making waves.

Similarly, curiosity drives my unabashed hunger for culture: fashion, film, books, food, design, and finding out who wore it best. But I’m less interested in knowing what’s trending than understanding why it’s making waves. That instinct keeps me adaptable and unafraid of change, while helping me separate the cultural shifts worth paying attention to from the passing fads.

Good marketing starts with understanding what makes people pay attention.

My philosophy: Good marketing starts with understanding what makes people pay attention and ultimately act. I want to know where a brand fits into someone’s world, not just how we can put it in front of them. Have a problem that hasn’t met its solution? Let’s talk.
